Chinese wind OEM Goldwind today announced the launch of its new 3MW turbine platform, the GW3S, underlining its global ambitions as it did so.
Goldwind – rated the world’s leading wind OEM by some analysts – said the scalable platform "features customised product features for international markets", with machines up to 3.4MW and rotor diameters as large as 140-metres.
The GW3S, described as a “smart” turbine platform, builds on the company’s 1.5MW
