Helix, a maker of vertical axis wind turbines, says the final price would hinge on the fulfillment of future earnings based on financial projections by Abundant Renewable Energy (ARE).
ARE, based in Newburg, Oregon, southwest of Portland, markets two, three-blade, horizontal wind turbine models with rated power of 2.5-kilowatts and 10-kilowatts.
Helix intends to purchase all ARE business assets related to the company's design, manufacture, marketing, sales and service of wind turbines, towers, electronic controls, related equipment and software, as well as accounts receivable, inventory pre-paid items and cash.
